PSD Icons

SWD created 32 PSD Icons layered, with effects, and embedded vectors. The PSD Icons file is small and the bulk of the file is embedded within the vector layer. Please note, that in order to customize the vector layer in the PSD Icons file you’ll need Adobe Illustrator. Or you may simply just scale to whatever size in Photoshop as the vectors are easily scaled.

Comments about PSD Icons

This was our first try at creating icons for public sale and it was a great experience. We hope to create more icons for purchase or for free download. A lot of time was spent making sure the quality for every single icon within the PSD Icons file was top quality. These are aren’t clip arts traced in Illustrator.

What you should know about PSD Icons

There was some discussion as to whether to create a layer for each icon, but seeing how to customize the icons you would need illustrator we embedded the icons in a vector layer. The user can simply go in and either make changes, copy paste from illustrator into a new layer or just duplicate layers in Photoshop.

Here are the icons in the PSD Icons File:

One of the great things about vectors is that you can scale to as large or as small as you want without losing quality.

The icons created were created in Adobe Illustrator then imported to Photoshop. Again, having illustrator is important when customizing the vector paths itself.
